The KattleGuard exit lane spray system coupled with our KattleGuard Insecticide is simply the best fly control system on the market today. It unites effective, continuous fly knock down and protection for your cattle with simplicity and automation. In doing so, the labor and human error associated with other types of fly control programs are eliminated.
How the system works: The customer (You!) determines how many days per week his or her cows need to be sprayed based on fly populations. Next, set the system for the desired spraying frequency. You're done! From here the KattleGuard takes over, automatically spraying each cow (on specified days) to one of your pre-set milking shifts as she exits the parlor.
Flies are killed and repelled when they come into contact with cattle that have been sprayed with our KattleGuard insecticide for +/- 48 hours. Unlike other products, KattleGuard's UV light blocking technology lessens degradation of the chemical in extreme sunlight. It also provides RainGuard technology which ensures that your insecticide dollars aren't washed down the drain in the next down pour.
Another benefit of this system is the Parlor and Barn Area Control. Since there are few to no flies on the cows coming in to be milked, few flies are carried into the milk barn from outdoors. Those few will die as soon as they land on the back of a milking cow! Lice are controlled to near perfection on milk cows.
